It’s a green light for my Christmas gift. Tom got me the Sekonic 358 flash meter I’ve been wanting for my studio. Apparently it makes a world of difference in the quality of the images.

I didn’t trust it at first because I’m not exactly technologically savvy and I didn’t think I was using it right. It told me to put the aperture to 5.6 and I thought it looked too bright in my viewer in camera. I upped it to 6.3 a few times and found out during proofing that 5.6 was, indeed, the much better exposure. Jack was a trooper ass usual!

Now I have awesome and adorable pics of my little man and a flash meter I can trust. #flashmeterisinfactnecessary
